All couples intending to get married, must complete the new version of the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form that was released on 1 September 2021.

The new version of the NOIM is five pages long, with a title and text on the first page. There is a small Australian Government logo in the header and there is no "name and address of celebrant" on the form.
There are still links/copies of the old NOIM document online. This is a 3 page document, with a large logo on a title page. The title is in capital letters underneath "Marriage Act 1961". Page two asks you for the name and address of the celebrant.
If you have completed an old version of the NOIM, you will need to re-enter your information on the new version of the form (linked) and get your signatures witnesses on this form. Celebrants are unable to accept the old form as a valid Notice of Intended Marriage.
